HOLIDAY AGGREGATION AND COMPARISON

Which Websites Bring Together Holidays from Different Travel Companies?

Why search one travel company at a time? Holiday comparison and aggregation websites bring offers from different suppliers into one browsing experience. TripsByDate is building a faster, simpler way to do exactly that, starting with your departure airport and dates.

Can one website show holidays from different travel companies?

Yes. Some travel comparison sites and holiday aggregators bring together offers from multiple suppliers. They help travellers explore alternatives without starting every search from scratch on a different company website. However, the providers represented, products covered and way results are displayed can vary significantly.

A site that searches flights alone is not necessarily comparing complete package holidays. And a site selling its own packages may not display the wider market. It pays to understand what each platform is actually showing.

What kinds of websites bring holiday offers together?

  • Package holiday comparison sites help people explore package offers from participating travel companies.
  • Holiday aggregators collect and organise listings from different sources so people can browse them in a common format.
  • Travel agencies and booking platforms may offer packages from several suppliers but can also act as the seller or booking intermediary.
  • Flight and hotel comparison sites can be useful for separate travel components, but their results are not always equivalent to a protected package holiday.

These services serve different needs. If you already know the exact hotel or supplier you want, going directly to that supplier can make sense. But if you are still discovering your options, an easy-to-scan overview can be far more useful than a long sequence of separate searches.

Why does comparing several travel companies still feel like hard work?

Traditional holiday searches often begin with a destination. Choose a country, pick your dates, adjust the filters and review the results. Then repeat the process if you want to explore another destination or another departure day.

That can be frustrating when you are open to somewhere new. You might simply want to know: What package holidays could I take from my airport next week, and which ones look like good value?

A useful discovery platform should make the answer easy to browse, not force you to guess which destination to search first.

TripsByDate: a new way to browse holidays from different providers

TripsByDate is built around one simple idea: less searching, more choosing. Select your departure airport, click through departure dates and explore the package holidays listed for each day. Your selected airport is remembered for future visits, so you can get straight back to browsing.

Instead of sending you through a maze of new search forms, TripsByDate presents holiday listings in a consistent layout. You can scan destinations, hotels, durations, advertised prices and providers, then move straight to another date to see how your options change.

This is especially valuable if you have a little flexibility. A holiday departing a day earlier, or to a destination you had not considered, may be worth a closer look. Being able to scan those possibilities quickly is the real advantage.

Is TripsByDate trying to list every package holiday?

That is the ambition. We want TripsByDate to become the natural first place people visit to discover package holidays, bringing together listings from as many travel providers as possible. Think of the convenience of browsing a large online marketplace, applied to holidays.

The goal is a single, straightforward experience where you can see what's available, compare possibilities and find a holiday worth booking, without hopping between dozens of websites.

TripsByDate is still growing and does not currently include every travel company or every holiday on the market. We're building towards broader coverage, while keeping the browsing experience fast and uncomplicated.

Does TripsByDate handle the booking?

No. TripsByDate is a holiday discovery platform, not the travel company selling your package. When you find an interesting listing, you follow it to the supplier to check live availability, final prices, inclusions and booking conditions. The supplier handles the actual booking and payment.

Our intended affiliate-led model allows TripsByDate to focus on helping people find holidays, rather than operating as a booking agent. Advertised prices and availability can change, so always verify the final details on the provider's website.

What should you check when comparing package holidays?

An easy layout is a great starting point, but compare like with like. Check whether quoted prices are per person or total, the number of nights, hotel and room type, board basis, departure airport and flight times. Baggage, transfers and other extras can affect the final cost.

The most useful aggregator helps you find promising options quickly. The final choice should always be based on the full offer confirmed by the travel company.

Could TripsByDate become the first and only place you need to start?

That's exactly what we're working towards. Our vision is that planning a package holiday begins with one quick visit to TripsByDate: choose your airport, browse dates and see a wide choice of holidays from different suppliers in a clean, familiar layout.

You'll still book with the travel company. But finding the holiday should be the easy part. That's the experience we believe holiday searching has been missing.
